This is countered by the artillery having greater accuracy, however the torpedos across the board are very underpowered. The weapons are another thing that don’t quite feel as useful as other nations. It’s not as useful as some of the other nation boosts however, because it’s such a small increase. It’s not a huge increase in top speed, but thanks to the ships being a little nimbler than the others, it can be enough to get you out of a torpedo’s path if you’re lucky. The French consumable ‘boost’ is quite literally that - it gives your ship a speed boost. Ranging from 1903 through World War II to 1956, the Bougainville to the Henri IV, they are equipped with one, two or three cannons per artillery for some pretty decent damage. Luckily, as is usually the case, each one comes with a little information about when it came into service, and a brief bio about it. I was given the opportunity to try out the French ships before release, and I’ll admit that my knowledge of the French navy was lacking. The newest nation contains cruisers Tier I through Tier X, and even a Tier VI battleship: the Dunkerque.
